"Nathional Theater" will open new stars of the theater scene

On June 23, the presentation of the All-Russian project “National Theater” was held with the informational support of Russky Radio. It’ll allow talented amateur theater-goers to try their hand at the big stage.

2019 is declared the Year of the Theater in Russia. One of the changes in the youth forum "Tavrida" was devoted to this kind of art. The theater remains relevant even now, in the age of modern technologies. The change of the “Year of the Theater” in the Crimea gathered 400 young theater directors, playwrights, producers and artists. A presentation of the new project took place, as part of the creative change. "National Theater" will support talented people from different parts of the country.

ANO "Center for the Development of Cultural Initiatives", Roskulttsentr with the information support of "Russian Radio" supported the idea of popularizing the theater art in regions of the country. "National Theater" will help talented people who do not have special education, to try yourself in acting skills.

Theater-goers from Arkhangelsk, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk and Elista and regional broadcasters of Russian Radio took part in the development of the “National Theater” project. They discussed the strategy and form of the project. These cities will become the launch pads of the “National Theater”.

Anyone can apply for participation in this project in the nearest theater, which became a participant in the program. Following auditions, the expert jury will select several candidates. They will get roles in current productions and immerse themselves in the rehearsal process under the guidance of leading masters and theater artists. According to results of the competition, in each theater one winner will be selected, who will perform in front of the audience and experts on the big stage along with a professional troupe.
